Two bills from Jones’s Stores, 2 Northgate Street, Aberystwyth, advertising Stephenson’s Furniture Cream, with a message from a boy called Eurfyl to his mother, written in Welsh with bad spellings. He and another do not like where they are, they were homesick on Friday night, and he is asking his mother to remember to fetch them.

Programme of the University College of Wales Aberystwyth ‘Sixth Festival of Orchestral and Choral Music’ at the University Hall. The conductors were Dr. Vaughan Williams, Sir Hugh Allen, Sir Walford Davies, Sir Adrian Boult, and Mr Gustav Holst. There were five concerts. Works included Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G. Minor. Details of concerts, rehearsals, and a Cymanfa Ganu conducted by Dr J. Lloyd Williams. Enclosed is a folded seating plan with prices and operational details.

Galloway - bookshop, Baird â€" University Outfitter, Longley tobacco, and the Cambrian News.

Programme in Welsh for a performance of ‘Blodwen’, an opera by Dr. Joseph Parry, by the Porthmadog Opera Choir. With a cast list and the ‘story’ of the scenes in each act. The choirmaster was Mr. J. Lewis Jones, the conductor was Mr. Jack Edwards.
