Documents relating to properties of the Thomas family of Trisant, Llanfihangel y Creuddyn
The 1851 census show widow Anne Thomas, two of her children and a grandchild at Bronwaun. The 1861 census shows a larger settlement at the site including Jane Burbeck and her husband and children. In the 1851 census her son Manuel Burbeck appears twice: with his grandmother at Bronwaun and also at the house of his parents.

Will of John Thomas of Bronwain [Bronwaun], Trisant, p. Llanfihangel y Creuddyn, miner, leaving land and property to his wife Anne and his children Jane, Evan, John, Lewis and Anne. 25 October 1849, with administration attached of 3 June 1850. Some ink damage.

Probate copy of the will of Lewis Thomas of Bwlchycrwys, parish of Llanbadarn. Made on 1 December 1877 (he died on the 2nd of December). It concerns the property Bronwaun at Trisant, of which he was the owner.
