Aberystwyth War Weapons Week 1918
Cutting from The Cambrian News and Welsh Farmers Gazette headed ‘Aberystwyth’s Record War Week Total’ and showing a photograph captioned ‘Aberystwyth War Weapons Week Executive Committee Officials and some of those who helped to raise £682,448 in one week’. The photograph shows the committee outside Owen and Sons shop, with ‘Julian’ the Tank in the background.
