Scope and content: The Eisteddfod Presentation Almanack for 1878: 'Cadair Ddu', Eisteddfod Gwrecsam, 1876 [Eisteddfod of the Black Chair, Wrexham 1876].

Contains portraits of divines and similar, including a chair, as well as a group portrait, shrouded chair at centre, with key. Also daily calendar with brief entries, account of the Ceremony of the 'Black Chair' and prominent advertisement for Thomas & Jones, linen and woollen drapers of Oswestry.
