Includes: means of exchange in destinations such as France, Spain, Genoa, Hamburg etc.; vulgar fractions; compound multiplication; annuities or pensions. Includes some coloured illustrations.
MUS/205/2 Undated book of exercises on subjects including: interest; brokage; compound interest; barter. Includes sketches of sailing ships, one coloured of the ‘Ester and Mary’. A vessel of that name, registered in Aberystwyth, included a Thomas Evans of New Quay in its crew, Jan-June, 1868 (see Shipping Records: TSR/1).
