Ledger recording port charges, victuals on board, and crew members and their wages of the ship Mountain Lass (registered in Aberystwyth in 1850, no. 14063).
The ledger contains a printed almanack for 1852 at the back, but most of the dated entries are from 1863.

Embossed on brass clasp is Crystal Palace, London (subtitled ‘The National Exhibition Hall’)
