Elaborate blank memorial plaque (paper).

MUS/166/2
Two part memorial card. Both cards have heavy black and silver border with similar, but lighter, on reverse. First reads, ‘In Loving Remembrance of Robert Evans who died at sea, May 10th, 1892, on a voyage from Rio Janeiro to Swansea. Aged 51 years’; reverse blank. Second has memorial acrostic verse spelling out ROBERT EVANS, by Fred Watkins; reverse has melancholy scene, featuring an urn, with motto ‘In Memoriam’.
