Photographic copy of a (probate?) inventory of contents of an apothecary/spice merchant/grocer shop. Lists items such as (spelling preserved): Terra Sigillata, Lapis Bezoar, Amber grise, pomanders, marmalade, coarse tabacco, Gallia moscata, bottells covered with lether, A case of Instruments etc.
Original document is in Exeter City Archives and is described as the ‘Orphan’s Court Inventory 62’. Date is not given but approx. 17th century.
