Postcard album, green paper and covers, front cover with design of ladybird flowers, inscribed ‘to dear Phe from her B... cousins, June 19 1906’. ‘Phe’ is Miss Phoebe G. Jones, of Pengelly, Newcastle Emlyn, the recipient of the great majority of the postcards and sometimes addressed as aunt. A few are addressed to Evans Esq., D. W. Evans or Mr. and Mrs. D. Gruffydd Evans.
There is a wide variety of cards, with many local and Welsh views, as well as others from Britain at large and a few from abroad. Includes some postcard printed photographs, and some novelty and greetings cards.
The cards appear to be arranged thematically. The earliest date from 1903 and continue up to 1913, with one, not mounted, of 1914.
