Scope and Content:

Three photograph albums, the first two certainly connected.

LIB/39/1
Album of mostly family portraits and snapshots. Includes what appear to be photographs of First World War soldiers. Some images may be earlier and the remainder all appear to be of interwar vintage.
One photograph of group posed in front of house with caption, ‘Daisy Bank, West Mersea’, posed at same time as photograph in album LIB/39/2, another shows a bungalow called ‘Two Trees’.
Newspaper cutting included, portrait of boy with caption, ‘Emyr Wyn Davies’.
Loose enclosure: handwritten sheet containing notes for postcard and photographs of Lampeter.

Album of mostly family portraits and snapshots. Includes what appear to be photographs of First World War soldiers and nurse. The remainder appear to be of interwar vintage, although VE Day postcards are included at rear.
Includes photographs of Synod Square, presumably Synod Inn, Ceredigion.
One photograph of group posed in front of house with caption, ‘Daisy Bank, West Mersea’, is posed at same time as photograph in album LIB/39/1.
Included loose are: colour photographs of Devil’s Bridge railway, rolling stock in BR livery; notes on six sheets of Cardiganshire Joint Library headed paper, apparently used as markers with the intention of producing slides of images from the album.

LIB/39/3 Album of mostly family portraits and snapshots. The images appear to be of interwar vintage and include, ‘My School Portrait, 1933’.
Postcards also included: of officers of the Great War (2), Welsh chapels (2), cards from America (2), one of which is of Mooseheart Baby Village.
