Ref: YSY YSBYTY YSTWYTH Council SchoolThe 1847 "Blue Books" record Lefel-Fawr Company School at Ysbyty Ystwyth, established in 1842. There were 60 children on the books and average attendance the previous year was 41. The 1905 report states that the school, a mixed, provided school, was erected in 1878. There was accommodation for 219. There were 207 on the books in 1904 and average attendance was 79.
All school records were destroyed in a fire in c. 1953.
The school closed in 2008.
