Ref: TRE/C TREGARON Board, Council SchoolThe 1847 "Blue Books" state that Tregaron school was established in 1839. There were 53 scholars and average attendance the previous year was 30. The 1905 report states that the school, a provided, mixed school, was erected in 1859. There was accommodation for 181. There were 106 on the books in 1904 and average attendance was 93.
