Ref: LWE LLANWENOG National SchoolThe 1847 "Blue Books" record a parish school, established in 1806. There were 22 scholars and average attendance the previous year was 19.
The 1905 report states that the school, a National, non-provided, mixed school, was erected in 1867. There was accommodation for 114. In 1905 there were 74 on the books and average attendance was 59.
