Letter from Morgan Evans from Rotterdam to his brother Mr Job Evans, Llaingrog, Newquay, Cardiganshire, mentioning sailing from "Dart" [? ] to Rotterdam. Also loading 60 tons of Copper at 11 shillings a ton for Swansea. He sends £40 home and apologises for the sum not being more, but trading is poor everywhere. £5.1.6 is to go to the owners ; he mentions that Mrs Evan Timothy had visited him when he was last home. He asks for a message to be conveyed to Mr John Rowlands' family and also to his own wife and children that they are both in good health.
