The Commercial Ledger: or, Gentleman’s, Merchant’s, and Tradesman’s Annual Memorandum Book. Hard-backed, with gilt edged leaves, and bound in red leather with a flap to tuck in.
Includes: a chart of the population of the UK Counties, including a list of Quarter Sessions, bankers, consuls, port offices, an almanac for 1837; and, at the back, a list of members of the Lords the House of Commons and the Navy. The ledger contains some ink annotations.
