Two bills from Jones’s Stores, 2 Northgate Street, Aberystwyth, advertising Stephenson’s Furniture Cream, with a message from a boy called Eurfyl to his mother, written in Welsh with bad spellings. He and another do not like where they are, they were homesick on Friday night, and he is asking his mother to remember to fetch them.

Programmes for the University College of Wales Aberystwyth St. David’s Day Celebrations, with speeches, a dance, a concert, refreshments and dramatic entertainments. Names of the committee and of people taking part are given. On the back pages some humorous quotations and announcements.

Programme of the University College of Wales Aberystwyth ‘Sixth Festival of Orchestral and Choral Music’ at the University Hall. The conductors were Dr. Vaughan Williams, Sir Hugh Allen, Sir Walford Davies, Sir Adrian Boult, and Mr Gustav Holst.  There were five concerts. Works included Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G. Minor.  Details of concerts, rehearsals, and a Cymanfa Ganu conducted by Dr J. Lloyd Williams. Enclosed is a folded seating plan with prices and operational details.

Programme of the University College of Wales Aberystwyth Athletic Sports at Vicarage Field. With a list of patrons, of the committee, and in ink the numbers of the students who won the races.  Also record times for races from 1901 to 1926, and on the back details of a Sports Concert.

Souvenir Programme of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth Tenth Annual Gymnastics Display at the Coliseum, Aberystwyth. Named were the Chairman and the Mayor, and there are articles by H. E. R. Morris and Major H. F. Stimson the lecturer in Educational Gymnastics. With two black and white photographs, and Aberystwyth advertisements – Dicks the Boot People, Sydney V. Galloway - bookshop, Baird – University Outfitter, Longley tobacco, and the Cambrian News.

Programme for a ‘Grand Test Concert’ at the Coliseum Aberystwyth with names of the adjudicators and details of the competitions. With some handwritten figures and calculations.

ADX/1483/20   
Programme in Welsh for a performance of ‘Blodwen’, an opera by Dr. Joseph Parry, by the Porthmadog Opera Choir.  With a cast list and the ‘story’ of the scenes in each act.  The choirmaster was Mr. J. Lewis Jones, the conductor was Mr. Jack Edwards.
