Scope and Content: 3 packets of personal photographs covering some aspects of student life during 1919 to 1929. Originally the property of two sisters (Ceridwen and Marion Jones), they were donated by a member of their family. “Ceridwen Jones 1919-1924” includes both formal and informal postcard/photographs of various groups. Some are identified, others not. Those identified include “Inter Coll” activities; “fancy dress”; “Table” groups; and Welsh themed groups. “Marion Jones 1925-29” contains both formal postcard/photographs and informal ‘snap shots’ taken in and around Aberystwyth. Some are identified, others are not. Those identified include, “Inter Coll”, “Celtic” “Welsh” and “Carp”. “Mens’ Teams: Aber. 1928-9” are of groups of various sports teams (hockey, tennis, athletics).
