Notebook containing details, payments to individuals within "Newquay Lordship" 1839-1845, and payments from inhabitants on the "east" and "west" sides. Also includes accounts of harvest. Probably owned by Edward Edwards, Rhydyferwig.

Letter from Morgan Evans from Rotterdam to his brother Mr Job Evans, Llaingrog, Newquay, Cardiganshire, mentioning sailing from "Dart" [? ] to Rotterdam. Also loading 60 tons of Copper at 11 shillings a ton for Swansea. He sends £40 home and apologises for the sum not being more, but trading is poor everywhere. £5.1.6 is to go to the owners ; he mentions that Mrs Evan Timothy had visited him when he was last home. He asks for a message to be conveyed to Mr John Rowlands' family and also to his own wife and children that they are both in good health.
